Substitute Positions Available Throughout the Year

We welcome applications year-round for substitutes in these roles:

  • Teachers

  • Educational technicians (ed techs)

  • Nurses

  • Food service workers

  • Custodians

Substitutes play an important role in keeping our schools running smoothly and supporting our students each day.

Required Background Check

All positions require a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) through the Maine Department of Education. This process includes fingerprinting. Visit the Maine Department of Education’s Fingerprinting and Background Checks page for instructions and application steps.
